PEUGEOT PARTNER WINS LIGHT VAN OF THE YEAR AT ANNUAL WHAT VAN? AWARDS

Another year, another award. PEUGEOT Partner wins 2020 What Van? Light Van of the Year.

The PEUGEOT Partner has won the What Van? Light Van of the Year award for the second year running. Partner was launched in the UK at the beginning of 2019, having already won the prestigious 2019 International Van of the Year award.

What Van? Editor James Dallas complimented the PEUGEOT Partner’s excellent range of engines and slick i-Cockpit interior design.

James Dallas, Editor of What Van?, commented: “Like its stablemates, the Partner is a smooth operator and remains ahead of the game in the light van sector. It features a choice of excellent engines, including the responsive and frugal 1.5-litre BlueHDi diesel at 75hp, 100hp or 130hp. Urban operators in particular may also wish to consider the 1.2-litre three-cylinder Puretech petrol engine. A USP of the Partner is the slick iCockpit interior carried over from its passenger car line-up.”

The Partner comes in four levels of trim, including: S, Grip, Professional, Asphalt. The range comes in Standard and Long-Wheel base forms with the latest addition of a Crew-Cab version which offers three addition seats – this also has a folding bulkhead to give the flexibility of seating or load-carrying layouts as required.

The PEUGEOT partner comes with a lot of equipment as standard; this includes ESC with Hill Start Assist, ABS braking, including emergency brake assist, remote central locking with deadlocks and separate locking for the cab, a full bulkhead, driver’s airbag, electric front windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors, full size spare wheel, PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® with head-up display and compact steering wheel, automatic headlights, DAB Radio, Bluetooth® and USB socket, Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance, six load area tie-down hooks and an overhead storage shelf in the cab.

Further safety options can be added such as front and rear parking sensors, the award-winning Overload Indicator which can inform the driver if the vehicle has exceeded its maximum weight and Surround Rear Vision, which includes passenger side and read cameras to provide visibility all around the vehicle.
