Looking for a new Motability car? Peugeot is a perfect choice with it's fantastic range of stylish and efficient models available on the motability scheme.

Who can apply for Motability?

Anyone with one of the following disability benefits have the opportunity to apply for the scheme. Alternatively carer, parent, or nominated drivers can also apply for the scheme. Named drivers' driving licences and consent for their details to be check with the DVLA database.

  • Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)*
  • Enhanced Rate Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
  • War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
  • Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

*As part of its welfare reform programme, the Government has started to replace Disability Living Allowance (DLA) with a new benefit called Personal Independence Payment (PIP), for disabled people aged between 16 and 64. The Motability Scheme will work with PIP in the same way as is it does with DLA. See the link below for more information.

How does Motability work?

Norton Way Peugeot has the full range of Motability vehicles to view & test drive, and our team of Motability specialists are on hand to help you decide on your perfect vehicle. The following price options are available for all Motability customers:

  • Car cost = less than your allowance: The remaining amount will be paid directly to you.
  • Car cost = same as your full allowance.
  • Car cost = with an Advance Payment: Allows you to add to your weekly allowance via a one-off upfront payment.

Once you have decided on your vehicle, our Motability specialists can also discuss if any optional extras or adaptations might help make driving easier or more comfortable.

You will then receive an acceptance letter containing a Personal Identification Number to complete your order. You will need to bring this with you upon collection of your vehicle with the following:

  • Your driving license
  • Certificate of entitlement from either DWP or SPVA
  • Proof of address
  • Named drivers' driving licenses and consent for their details to be checked with the DVLA database.

Our website is powered by G-Forces Web Management Limited (“GForces”), our third party web services provider. GForces is committed to ensuring that data is processed in accordance with applicable data privacy laws, and is kept secure. GForces is certified to the standard of ISO27001 (an international standard for information security). GForces uses Amazon Web Services, Inc. as its cloud platform provider. All data processed by GForces is stored on Amazon’s web servers in the EEA.

These are stored against unique ids (which are strings of numbers). If you use our enquiry forms

When you submit information using an online form, GForces processes the data collected and stores it for 31 days for the legitimate business purpose of enabling us to access the information and deal with your request (it is then kept for a further 14 days in GForces’ routine back-ups for business continuity purposes). We collect the following information:

If you enter your post code, GForces stores the first part of it (e.g. ‘ME14’ or ‘SW1’) and links it to standard internet log information already collected (it is used for the same purposes as that information, as outlined above).



If you use our LiveChat service

We use a third party provider, Gubagoo Inc.to supply and support our LiveChat service. If you use the LiveChat service we will collect your name and email address if you provide this and any other personal information that you volunteer to us. This is used for the legitimate business purpose of handling customer enquiries in real time and then following up. This data is stored by Gubagoo for 2 years to enable us to access the information and deal with your enquiry. Gubagoo stores the information in the US under the EU-US privacy shield framework.
