Peugeot Passport Lease FAQs

What is Passport?

Passport is a purchase plan designed to allow you to change your car every three years.

What does Passport include in the monthly payments?

Your monthly payments will automatically include your first year's car tax, PEUGEOT Assistance for 3 years and Payment Waiver.

What cars are eligible for Passport?

All new PEUGEOT retail cars are available.

How does Passport work?

You decide on the deposit you wish to pay which is usually between 10% and 20% (to a maximum of 40%) of the cost of the car.

You choose the annual mileage band which suits your needs best, anything between 6,000 and 30,000 per year.

PEUGEOT will then forecast the value of the car at the end of the contract, which is the optional final payment. This amount is set to the end of the agreement.

Your deposit and optional final payment are then deducted from the price of the car and monthly payments are calculated on the remaining balance.

Monthly payments are then fixed throughout the period of the agreement, allowing you to effectively plan your budget.

Why are monthly payments with Passport more affordable than traditional Hire Purchase plans?

Because the optional final payment is deducted from the vehicle price prior to calculating the monthly payments, Passport payments will always be lower when compared with traditional Hire Purchase plans over the same period.

What happens at the end of the contract?

At the end of the contract you can:

  • Pay the optional final payment and own the car
  • Hand the car back with nothing further to pay (subject to mileage and condition)
  • Part exchange the car for a brand new one
